Once your Renewal Application Eligibility has been approved by Customs & Border Protection, if your personal data i.e passport, drivers license, address and employment history has not changed since you first enrolled for the NEXUS program then you will not need to attend an interview as the renewal process is faster. The NEXUS card renewal process is the same as for first time applicants if your personal information has changed in the last 5 years. The online renewal process makes this much simpler and saves time and delays that is usually associated with paper applications to the NEXUS Program.

All applications must be approved by the relevant departments of both the United States & Canada to qualify for the issue of a Nexus Card Renewal. NEXUS Support Services will double check your renewal application and clarify any missing information before it is submitted for final certification to Customs and Border Protection of both the United States & Canada.
